when it's for you to say.
The man of my dreams,
the treasurer of my heart,
whose lessons I remember,
whenever I have to start.
Small steps of my life,
to the bigger decisions I had to make,
you always supported me,
even if I had something wrong to say.
Where you got the patience from
whenever I was wrong,
you never shouted or blamed me,
even if I did the biggest wrong.
Those motivating lines were always ready with you,
I always wondered if is it true.
Your face appeared so calm and there was no frown,
I couldn't relate to it sometimes and acted like a clown.
How do I express in words the gratitude for my past,
today when I see am your reflection atlast.
Even the smallest steps, you have taught me to walk,
I can never even compare to imitate, how you even talk.
Today also you inspire with your every move of life,
how do I conquer to be a shadow by your side.
