“It’s over” she says
her gown flare up as she walks off
in awe I stood, immobile… transfixed
those words from her lips
words smoothly flows out
sailing into my core
words, both bitter and sweet
spiting me with soothing relief
it keep resounding in my head
like a canine flashing it fangs
I feel my whole world crashing
a terrible and pathetic heartbreak
not like this I once prayed
it wasn’t suppose to be this way
