In the Shadow of Giants

In the shadow of giants
I walked through the sand
following the path of the fathers
that led me to far lands
In the shadow of giants
and the whispers of why?
I tried to follow plans of my fathers who
put my mind in the sky
I was sure I'd disappoint them
being such as I am
I'm not much of a giant
and a questionable man.
Could I please the old rascals
In my lifetime of doubt?
I'm eclipsed by such shadows
when the Truth
finds me out.
And so don't look where I'm going
through my path in the sand
The giants taught me much
But not how to find
who I am.
