May the ground beneath me
bear my weight—
so too the air around me
hold me tight.
May the sky above me
rain down light—
so too the fire within me
shine out bright.
So that when I may die,
gladly I will return to all of this;
become entwined with all of this.
With the ground beneath
and the air around;
the sky above
and the fire within—
to bear, to hold, to rain and to shine
for someone, something, new
like me—
as I was and will always be.
