I remember when I was a little girl, I always felt so foreign in this big mean world, I never understood why people would lie, steal, and cheat, my heart was always pure, yet all I ever knew was defeat, I would lay up at night talking to God and the angels above, praying for world peace and unconditional love, even on my worst days I could only see the good in it all, some called me an angel 😇, little did they know, I too, one day would fall, i fell out of heaven and into the depths of this world's sin, captivated by the illusion of the devils play pin, my wings were broken and my halo lost it's light, do not tell me about war, day in and day out I had to fight, I fought to protect my faith, my heart & my soul, I refused to be devoured by that deadly dark hole, I made it back to the gates of heaven where I belong, oh, how I have missed the sound of the angels singing their song ❤
