Another friend of mine was shot and killed today. I was on my way to work when I received a call from a friend of mine. I picked up the phone and my friend was crying and told me that our friend was shot and killed. The moment I heard the news, I was devastated. I broke down crying and I was remember just being in a state of shock. He leaves behind an eight year old daughter who will never see her father again. Both of my friends and I grew up together and went to school together as well. The friend who was shot and killed today was a really good friend of mine. I won't say his name due to my respect for him and his family, but let me say that he was and is an amazing guy. I went to work a broken man and I just didn't know what to do. I don't understand why people would hurt and kill innocent people. It's like they don't care about the wellbeing and safety of other people and it's sad. People with guns kill innocent people and it's scary that people are dying due to gun violence. This is another friend of mine who died due to being shot and killed and I think it's time we put an end to gun violence. My deceased friend was muscular, average height and very attractive. He was a ladies man and women really loved him. The last I spoke to him was a week ago and things were looking good for me, him and etc. and let me say that when he died, a big part of me pased away. Right now, my heart is broken and I'm trying my best to remain strong. I'm writing this to say that we all have ways to deal with trauma.
