The Last moments (self composed)
Holding hands she walked with him
Down the valley and across the lake
She knew it was his last day,
so she goes to make it precious.
Birds chirp, leaves fall,
flowers bloom, squirrels run.
She reaches a place which was quite yet pretty.
A swing on the corner,
and a lake in the middle.
She makes him sit on the swing
and swings him to and fro.
In every swing, moments flash..
of the doctor who said he will live no more.
She knew not much time is left,
so she takes him to the top of the mountain.
The cool breeze, and the sounds of the birds mesmerises him a lot.
Slowly he breathes, and thanks God for the day...
His birthday was special.
Slowly he closes his eyes,
and he lays on her arms.
She looks above, tears stroll down her eyes....
....And now..
She reminces every moment of his and hers.
