My honest longings

It's said that some things are earned
only when you desire them badly.
Hope this applies to my longings
as it's not yet so....sadly.
The past has been too hard
leaving scars on my gentle soul
Desires unfulfilled, hopes charred
sadness and despair on a whole.
All I wish is....for a good health
not much ...but little wealth
Dreams to fulfill are a few
Again some old wishes..nothing new.
My darling son overcomes his fear
The path before him be always clear
As he grows up to be a young man
hope journey of life goes as God's plan.
One more wish.. before this journey winds
To be amidst nature 🌿🍃and be happy from all ends.
