broken trust
In the guardian's role, a presence once dear,
A trust now shattered, whispers of fear.
In trust's warm embrace, once solid and true,
Now shattered fragments, feelings askew.
Lost in the haze of confusion's cruel maze,
Drowning in grief, in life's dimming phase.

Pain, a constant companion, walking by my side,
In a world where trust and love tend to hide.
Faces like shadows, casting whispers of fear,
Retreating to darkness, shedding a silent tear.

Fearful of light, and anxious in the night,
Life's puzzle missing pieces, not quite right.
Don't wish to linger, yet can't easily let go,
In this sea of grief, emotions ebb and flow.

Betrayed and broken, a heart quietly weeps,
A simple narrative, in silence it creeps.
Through shadows of sorrow, a gentle plea,
Hoping for a glimpse of solace to set me free.
