In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone..
My heart exploded,
all that love corroded,
Over time, any warmth eroded..
Just an emptiness, that you created, I hated,
stuck in my darkness, anxiety and depression debated,
knowing neither one would claim a victory, I just felt deflated..
The saddest fact is, if you gave me hope I'd have waited,
and collated these feelings for ages,
instead you closed the book, and left me to fill the pages..
So here's all my words for you, even though I know you'll never read them..
I STILL LOVE YOU..
I'll just leave them there, just in case you ever need them..
