As she walked away...
Falling in love isn't for the faint of Heart. Knowing what I've given her from the very beginning. Without her life isn't worth living. To travel east into the Kansas Corn. My Heart feeling troubled and torn. I'd do it all over once more just to hear her voice. I absolutely knew she was for me. Thinking she would be the one Woman to finally set my Heart free. Unable to get her out of my Mind. Knowing if I knelt down to plead my case, to finally look up to see her beautiful face. I'd be able to look her in the eyes, as my chest sunk in the ground. To see her cry and smile at this ungrateful Man. As she says to me. "You and I are God's plan." I am a fool to think such a Woman would see me as I am. So, here I lay in bed by myself. Kansas has left me behind and placed me on a shelf. Watching and waiting for something that'll never come to be. For, she'll never come back to me.
