The Hunt
Tonight I remember, tonight I feel like I was cursed. As if a demon in my heart becomes well rehearsed. The thought of sadness in another lifetime it would seem. Have come to haunt me in another fitful dream. I was not born like this, I need for you to know. For sometimes mercy, a flaw in which I must show. To allow my prey a headstart as I bow. As the predator in me will show you how. To let you live if I've seen a real human being. For when my hunt starts under the Moons brilliant light, as you can hear me sing. The moon is my love, as we were betrothed when we were young. She listens for my song to see if it was sung. For if I have no love to give, your soul she contests and you shall not live. There is why nobody has no love for the Wolf and tonight another hunt. And to murder you under her watchful eye, if I may be so blunt.
