Dark is the night,
Darker the soul,
Fathomless depths,
Stories untold,
Pavilion for safety,
To wing through all anxiety,
Words yet to decipher,
All ears is the publisher,
Daunting mind, but yet sanguine,
Fearless, not to make headline,
In a state of dilemma,
All thoughts, of poor old Elma,
But this dark night,
Will all soon end right,
What seemed interminable,
Will soon be invisible.
