Bloody winter. part 9
My ears heard the bouncing of a strong fist. I was expecting to fall to the ground, but I was still standing without any pain. I dared to open my eyes. His left hand, like a fist, was next to the wall. My heart was going and going, and I had no power to stop it. With his other hand, he held the back of my head. My curly hair, still a little wet, tangled around his fingers. He pulled me close and gave me a hug. My heart started losing some of its beats as his chest was racing against mine.
"Did he hurt you?"
That question of his stayed in the air for quite some time. My arms went around his body. My hands locked his shirt under his jacket, and my tears started falling on his right broad shoulder. What I was doing was wrong, but the truth was in this world; he was the only person who hugged me while I was hurt. He cared for me before he cared for himself, so even if I'm getting the wrong idea, then at least I won't regret this moment.
I felt his left hand on my waist and his whisper telling me that everything is okay. We stayed like that for a long time, then I loosened the grip of his shirt. His face looked different. A lot. His eyes weren't angry anymore. The look of them was something I had never seen before. He reached to wipe my tears with his fingers, but my head moved back. No one ever did that to me, and I was kinda confused.
He made a step back. "I'm sorry! I... I didn't mean to..."
"It's ok. It is just it was too sudden." I interrupted him. ...
"Do you want some tea?" I asked.
"Tea... yes, tea would be great!" he said.
We sat on the couch, and I told him what happened.
"Why the hell did he give you his number? Look if he calls you, you have to let me know! Ok? Promise me that!" He was ordering me, but someway I felt as he was concerned.
"What if I don't promise?" I asked.
"I won't leave your house if you don't, or I will follow you around all day long. If that is what you're asking, then try me. You will make that promise in one way or another." he said.
"And what if I break that prom...?" I wanted to ask, but his left hand blocked my mouth.
"Don't you ever think of breaking a promise you make to me! Never! You wanna know what happens? I'll kill whoever tries to show his face before me! So what are we going to do?" he asked.
All he said was true. He meant all of it.
"I will not make a promise that puts someone's life in danger!" I answered.
"You sure won't!" He took his backpack and opened it. "What are you doing. You said you won't use those."
"I know what I said, but it looks as if you like the idea of breaking promises." he said.
He took a rope and came towards me.
"No, please don't!"
"Your hands now!" he ordered.
"Sir please, I beg you?"
Never in my life had I begged someone. Those words were so hard to say, but even harder for my own ears to hear.
He sat next to me. The rope was still in his hands.
"Look me in the eye and answer! Are you scared of me?" he said.
I couldn't dare to look at him. I know I couldn't lie even if I wanted to. He didn't force an answer out of me. He understood my silence very well.
"At least you didn't lie!" he said.
There was a drop of disappointment in his voice. "Fine you win!"
He was full of rage, and I know he was controlling himself. He got up, put the rope back in the backpack, and went for the door.
My thoughts were fighting each other, and there was no time for war. "Stop!" I yelled. He turned around.
"I promise you! If that man calls me, I will tell you... Also, it is very late. Don't go out at this hour. Don't misunderstand, I mean like the last time; it was a long day."

"What the hell was I saying? Did I just tell him to spend the night here???"
