Scared of myself
I am scared of my masculine features.
My prominent browridges and my hair line.
My almond eyes and forehead creases.
I dont like myself, maybe that's why girls don't like mine.
Drifting between flashy clothes and black robes.
Hard-core aesthetics contrast the soft poet.
It's even worse when the crones chime in.
I mean, the older who think they know it.
Who all think they know what it means to be a man.
A generation of men with masculine fathers.
A new generation of boy, with fathers long-forgotten.
What could you possibly know?
How could you know what's it like to wear a dress?
To come to school everyday looking my 'pretty' best.
You scrutinize me just as much.
If masculinity is a calling, why do you test?
Ticking various boxes.
Short, cropped hair.
No gender expression.
A blank, religious, brainwashed, reddened canvas.
Enough of these pills and maybe...
you'll find out that you're actually just a misogynist.
