What Would You Be??
If you were not human, then what would you be?
I would be a beautiful rose, standing tall as a tree.
With petals of crimson, soft as a sigh,
Reaching for sunlight, kissing the sky.
If you were not human, then what would you be?
Perhaps a swift river, flowing wild and free.
Carving through valleys, singing a song,
Carrying dreams and adventures along.
Or maybe a star, in the night sky so bright,
Guiding lost souls with your shimmering light.
A symbol of hope, steadfast and true,
Glimmering softly in a canvas of blue.
But if I could choose, here's what you'd see,
A wise old oak, deep-rooted and free.
Sheltering life beneath my shade,
A silent witness to all dreams made.
Although no matter the form, be it flowers or stream,
Or a celestial gem with a radiant gleam,
I'd strive to bring beauty, to inspire and see,
The wonder of life in all that could be!!
