(Poem: The Garden of Memory.)

Where are they lost?
Childhood glory
It was not organized
But fragrance was special.

Over the head of the gate
Madhavilata's welcome
'Harsinghar' on the yard
With frenzy fall.

'Kanthali Champa' from a corner
spread fragrance all around,
In another corner 'Hibiscus'
Spreading its glow reddish.

Kanchan's white dress
Smearing with 'Togar'
In the swing of the wind at moonlight
Keep it as a witness.

Another one is 'Gandharaj'
Say look at me
Under the Tulsi floor
Ha ha ha -'Jasmin' laughs

Oh, I totally forgot
About 'Golap Babu'
Next to the drain
The pain of the aroma spreads.

Watering every day
was not a compulsion ,
Till no deception
gave a tree full of flowers .

Today the garden is very tidy
On the small balcony
The names are all foreign
How to remember no idea.

Jherbera Calendula Daffodil Petunia
Odorless but charming to mind and eye
Every day wants water of love
There are more-Cosmos, Camellia.

In my small flat
having more gardens,
More fragrance
Can I expect in a dream?

NB: Madhbilata- a scented flower climber
Hibiscus - Red flower
Harsinghar , Kanthali Champa , Gandharaj , Togar - White scented flower.
Golap babu - Rose.
