There are some
who only fall
from the heavens above
to be caught again
by the arms of love.
And then there are others
called to arms once more
to embrace the duties thereof.
There are some
who live just to die—
who spend their entirety
dying to discover
just what it is to live.
And then there are others
who die just to sleep,
to dream of yet
another such lifetime to give.
There are some
who dream just to think
and only think
merely to speak.
And when a word is uttered
it’s never a wish, but a curse;
it’s forever a lie or a scheme.
And then there are others
who lie just to sleep
and simply sleep not to rest,
but to dream.
