Silver Lining
To handle the twists and turns of life, We have to try to lend a hand and help each other out, Because living alone is like holding the edge of a knife; thus when released, there is no telling how deep it'll cut.
As a glass shatters when it hits the floor, so as my heart to know that a part of being me is no more, leaving my entire being in disbelief my thoughts all shivering like a weekend leaf.
I now know what's wrong; nevertheless I've got to be strong, this pain in my heart stings like a thorn.
It's about time that I feel what it's like to lose someone, I'll miss you Dad but I've got to move on; now I feel a hole ripped through my heart which lets out a dirge (sad song) running through my my spine.
Giving up is not the time, so I press on in this life of mine, helping to make the world a better place.
To you out there, situation comes and goes to break, remold and build you; it's not over until you say so.
