WARRIORS WITH NEEDLES AND ROPE
Nobody saw the enemy coming.
It came all of a sudden
It began to operate in a land faraway.
It settled therein and gathered a lot of strength
and waited for a suitable time to begin the war.
It attacked when we least expected and the war began.
It spread all over the world like a bush fire in the harmattan and claimed a lot of lives
and the whole world was in chaos.
Our gun men, as powerful as they are, are powerless.
Gigantic men, as strong as they are, are weak
because in this war, guns and strength are useless.
But kudos to our real warriors fighting
with needles in their hands and rope
dangling from their necks.
They have been fighting with the enemy
even though they weren't prepared.
They are losing their lives too but
they aren't surrendering.
Everyone is depending on them and
hoping that someday the war will
Come to a beautiful end with them singing songs of victory.
