Sometimes it is best to be in solitude,
To separate from the crowd,
So no one will intrude,
As you mumble tales alone aloud.
Sometimes it is better to suffer alone,
To get those echoes into your head,
So that eventually you come to terms,
With the acceptance settling in your heart as rigid as a stone.
Sometimes it is good to cry your lungs out,
To not be confused with lack of their efforts,
As opposed to what you were blamed for,
Because if not yourself, for whom are you going to vouch?
Sometimes it is okay not feeling like getting up from your bed,
To sulk and sink in the darkness,
So that there is nothing left worth to fight for,
And you wake up with not the same tears that you have already shed.
