Quite often, I frequent
this known lane,
Lovingly called, the permanent
memory lane,
Through the garden full of colorful
memories I maintain,
Sometimes, emerging like clear visuals
of bygone days,
Sometimes, entering through the connected
paths and ways,
The memories beautiful like twinkling
stars at night,
like the flowers shining in broad day light
with colors bright,
Sometimes, they descend in bits
and pieces,
Sometimes come like sharp or blunt blows and traces,
Sometimes, like slow, soothing and
tender kisses,
I see the bouquet of moments frozen,
happy, sad, stressed and glad,
The memories— cool, calm, angry,
good and bad,
Of course, having fragrances of
all kinds,
The memories, that never abandon
human minds,
Being captivated, I stay there for
long hours,
Then, with heavy heart and steps,
I leave the garden with the bouquet of
varied flowers!
