The Loathed Reflected Self
Loathed visage stares back, a bitter sight to see,
In mirror's cruel gaze, disdain meets my eye;
The mirror, mocking, shows no empathy,
Revealing flaws with its unyielding lie.
This tarnished reflection, a foe in disguise,
A cipher of self-loathing, ever unkind,
Its twisted image, a venomous guise,
An endless torment of the troubled mind.
Oh, cursed glass that holds my despised twin,
Why must you taunt, with every line and scar?
A reflection so fraught with hidden sin,
A constant reminder of wounds that mar.
Alas, the loathed reflection will not depart,
A hated echo of my tormented heart.
