Live by Faith, Not by Sight
What could this mean?
There's an awful fright as the clock strikes midnight still. Like the Boogeyman shifted into numerous shadows of Tyranny and Idolatry.
A cacophony of cackling witches and church bells ringing as Halloween rolls in. There's War in the rolling clouds overheard and the thunder of Adversity and a growing number of Adversaries is the air we breathe.
A concoction of substance abuse and neglecting to nurture with compassion. Pain and Torment as caregivers betray, as allies turn, as nations pillage and burn and kidnap and enslave and murder and massacre.
Down the street there's a fight every weekend, there's bloodlust in many eyes these days. Lust and Instant Gratification combine to see an explosion in Selfish Ambition, Envy, Greed, Discord and Evil Practices such as Adultery and Debauchery.
To Judge is to be labeled or shunned or threatened or slapped into prison or a hospital bed.
And maybe for Good reason.
Cause in and through Christ, God declared we should not Judge One Another. And through Paul he continued that to Judge Another is to Judge the Law, that there is only One Judge and Lawgiver; the Father in Heaven. The Creator of all Creation.
Eternal Judgement is beyond our Understanding cause we are but mere Mortals who blossom like a flower, bloom then wither the same. Some are drenched and drown, some through drought dry out.
To think of all this and not have Faith is essentially to go insane.
By Sight and Judgement, there is now just too much to see.
But by the Grace of God which is through Faith in Christ Jesus his Son coming to Earth as Lord and Savior, we proclaim belief to a God who has made the sacrifice for all our Sins to be Forgiven so long as we Forgive those who trespass against Us and we obey his Commands to Love.
Perfect Love has no Fear, for Fear has to do with Punishment. But God is Merciful. So Fear not a Man, but God only. Be Merciful and Holy, just as he is. Seek Peace with all People, Honor God, Forgive, Love, keep your Hope and Faith in Christ whose Love cannot be separated, not even by Death.
Psalms 56:1-13 NIV
[1] Be merciful to me, my God, for my enemies are in hot pursuit; all day long they press their attack. [2] My adversaries pursue me all day long; in their pride many are attacking me. [3] When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. [4] In God, whose word I praise— in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? [5] All day long they twist my words; all their schemes are for my ruin. [6] They conspire, they lurk, they watch my steps, hoping to take my life. [7] Because of their wickedness do not let them escape; in your anger, God, bring the nations down. [8] Record my misery; list my tears on your scroll— are they not in your record? [9] Then my enemies will turn back when I call for help. By this I will know that God is for me.
