Looking down on myself
I can't see what they see, when they look at me
I get praises where ever I go
Praises of how smart and beautiful I am
Yet I see nothing.
Why am I hiding from myself?
When I should be out there being me
Why can't I see myself in the mirror?
When I should be admiring myself in it
How is it that I can feel the greatness in me?
Yet I only see weakness in my reflection
How do I free myself from me?
How do I find myself in me?
Who knows
I guess that's up to me to figure it out.
