Just today you opened that book of yours,
Where you kept our sweetness of love,
Read these bits and was amazed,
Felt like musings in few lines were said.

When asked you where did you get them from?
You reminded those were my lovely messages.
You carefully wrote them when whatsapp was not there,
Mobiles were simple running little messages.

I stayed in Oman
and was able to message only one or two a day,
You waited for them late nights
and happily wrote them and stored again.

My eyes rolled back in time reading our love contained
In those few words meaning a whole world to say.
Where now we are amazed
by whatsapp & messangers today,
People write so much
but just shallow meanings & smileys stay!
