Poem: ANXIETY
There's a lump in chest
That cannot be suppressed
It keeps haunting me
at its best ,
Until it'll leave my soul to rest.
This anxiety,
Is being served to me
like it's burnt tea.
I say so be it
You might just have to live with it.
Meds and it's fuckery
Only cause more casualties.
This anxiety,
It controls my mind
Leaving me behind
In a constant state of worry
Nothing seems to ease this fury
But I won't let it win
I'll fight it from within
Seeking help and understanding
I'll find a way to keep on standing
This anxiety,
It won't define me
I'll break free
And learn to live with peace
Embracing life, finding release
