Memory Box.
I’ve walked with you,
along the shore.
Through
the rock pools,
we did explore.
Amongst those
childhood times,
this will stay.
Locked up
in my memory.
I’ll hold
those moments,
deep inside.
Inside the
memory box,
of my life.
A blanket
gives me
warmth tonight.
While this
emotional pain,
falls from
my eyes.
The world
will turn again,
tomorrow.
While in my heart,
i’ll feel such sorrow.
We measure love,
in many terms.
As we keep hold,
of what we’ve learned.
So dear one.
I say… Goodbye.
With tears,
still falling
from my eyes.
With my box
of memories,
to keep me warm.
My love for you,
will always shine.
