Conversations with Silence
Before I slumber, a god I invoke,
We converse like old friends, hearts spoke,
Yet, no response, in silence he resides,as hushed as the night, where darkness hides.

I wonder if he heard me, I try again to speak,
Once more, my words in the dark I seek.
The stars above, they twinkle and gleam, but the god's reply remains but a dream.

In the stillness of the night, I persist,
With every word, my longing persists.
For in the quiet, where shadows embark,I seek solace, in the depths of the dark.

Does He listen to the whispers of my soul?
Or am I left to wander, lost in this black hole?
Before I slumber, a god I invoke, hoping one day, His silence will be broken.
