What happened to the children, lost in the system over the years,
Without love and a mother's tender care,
Their silent cries unheard, their hopes mingled with fears?
Drifting through a world with forgotten tears.

In the shadows, they quietly roam,
Seeking solace in places unknown,
Their hearts yearning for a place to call home,
In a world that often leaves them alone

In the corridors of foster homes,
Where shadows replace a parent's embrace,
Do they find solace in dreams,
Or does the longing leave a trace?

These children, wandering through life's maze,
Seeking a place to belong, a tender hand to hold,
Their hearts bear many stories of silent pain,
And resilience, quietly but bold.

Yet, amid the darkness, some try to find light,
In mentors, friends, and strangers kind,
For even in a world that often forgets,
Every child's spirit still fights to shine.
They deserves to be cherished,
And cradle in arms so devine.

So let us remember the lost ones,
And strive to show we care,
For with a little love and kindness,
We can be the ones to repair!!
