Well,economics class wasn't as bad as i imagined. It was so educational and i learnt a lot. Afterall, the teacher wasnt that bad. Tho,i struggled to listen cause of the disrespectful students eating and chattering in class rather than paying attention.The question that kept coming to my head was why Miss. Barrett said nothing. Did the student have a mental problem or what?.Anyways that wasn't my cross to bear.
"krrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" went the bell
"i guess its time for the next class,but whats the next class? i thought out loud just then, i saw Jessica leaving right through the door "Hey jess,wait up! I yelled (I jogged a little bit before i caught up to her)
Me : Hey jess, what's upp....
Jessica: oh! hi Olivia ,seems like you've got a new nickname for me.
(They both laughed together)
Me:(giggled) so....what's our next class
Jessica: Nothing,its free period .wait , you are a science student right?
Me: Yep! definetly!
We walked down the hallway , gisting and laughing about funny and scary novels and movies. Well i was pleased to have a friend whom has the same likes and dislikes as i do. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to ask her why that girl gave me that look.
Me: I got a stern look from a girl with blonde hair in our class and...
(I was interrupted immediately by Jessica)
Jessica: oh Jasmine Higgins?
Me: I don't know. But,how sure are you cause there are up to 7 girls in our class with a blonde hair.
Jessica :Of course its Jasmine! who else would do that.
Me: why would.....
(Just then, Jasmine and friends blocked our way)
Jasmine: look who we have here! the pretty ,little "New Girl" hahahahaha!
Friends: hahahahahahaha!
Me:(Confused)
Jessica: what's so funny Jasmine ?
Me: oh ! hi Jasmine
Jasmine: Save it! i am not here for your petty drama. I just came to warn you never to cross my path,if not i will send you back to where you came from .
Me: (still confused) what? have we met before?
Jasmine: Ewwwwww ! No! (with a disgusted face) I just came to give you a clear warning Miss.Olivia Martinez
(raising her brows up with a stern look and bumped my shoulder with hers')
Me: What! so rude!
Jessica: Hope your question has been answered?
Me: No! why so mean like we were rivals years back.
Jessica:That's just how she is. Forget about it ,don't let all that drama get into your head.Today is your first day ,Come on!
Me: you are right ! at least she called me pretty.
(both smiled at each other)
Jessica: Come on ! let me take you on a tour.
Me:(With a broad smile) Yes! sure!
At least a tour round the school made me calm a little and eased the nasty statements Jasmine made to me.
After a round tour,i was so exhausted and hungry "krrrrrrrrrrrrrr" went the bell once again
Me: Its break right? (touching my tummy)
Jessica: it sure is.
Me: yeeepee ( I smiled,still touching my tummy)
Jessica: Seems like you are a foodie
Me: lol like you aren't as excited as i am ( Both giggled and left for the cafeteria at once).
When we got to the cafeteria ,we headed straight to the cafe which had food not snacks,it was so big and had so many round tables with people chattering . it was so big that i could build two houses yet still space. Jessica and i got our food and juice and headed straight to sit ,we had to find a vacant spot to calmly sit and let the food digest cause we were so starved .
Finally,we found a vacant spot ,so peaceful,super comfortable and empty.
Me: I told the caterer that i don't like fries but yet she insisted and used it as a welcome package . How nice !
Jessica : Really? seems like she likes you but,that's alright you can give me
(She took it with a smile)
Me: and am the one who is a foodie
(Both laughed out loud)
as soon as we just started eating ,jasmine hit the burger right off our hands....
Me:Oh my god!
Jessica :what?
Everyone one else: uhhhhhhhhhhh
(Now she caught the attention of the whole school)
Jasmine :I asked you to back off my paths didn't i?
Me:what? (Confused)
Jessica: Jasmine ,watch it ! that was so rude!😡
Friend 1: Shut up follower!
Me: What's your big deal jazzzz
Jasmine : How dare you call me by my nickname?
Me: why so pained jazzzzzzzzz
Everyone : hahahahaha
(Jasmine was at the verge of tears)
Jasmine: Get out! of my spot asshole
Me: oh but your name isn't written here ?
Jessica :let it be Olivia ,we don't have time.
Friend 2: Says the follower
Me: What? (angrily)
Jessica: let's go!(pulling Olivias' hand)
Me: No! (forcefully pulling out my hand)
Jessica : (whispering) do you want to be suspended on your first day?
Me: (sigh) Fine,but....
Jessica: Come on!
Jasmine : So weak! hahaha
Friends :hahahaha!
(We left at once and everyone minded their business)
(outside)
Me: Silly brat! (angrily)
Jessica : Come on!
Me: She has lost it , i tell you seriously
Jessica :I understand but i don't want you to get into trouble cause she's very good at that. Her father is one of the board members of this school and he is very influencial so you can easily get expelled .She's so popular and rich,she has all she wants so maybe thats why she misbehaves . She lost her mum at the age of 6 so maybe that's why she's so mean .
Me:ohhh so sad. but yet, she didn't have to be so rude! what?
Jessica: I know that's why sometimes i just let her be.
Me: So what now ....?
"krrrrrrrrrrrrr" went the bell
Jessica: class?
Me: of course!
(we left at once for our classes)
