Washing machine ghost
You know how your washing machine sometimes makes weird noises in the middle of the night? Yeah, that's exactly what mine started doing. Only, this wasn't just any old washing machine; this was the Whirlpool of Whispers, and it came with a bonus spectral roommate. Now, I know what you're thinking: washing machines are boring. But not mine,

It all started with a pair of my favourite socks. .....
they vanished. I searched everywhere: under the bed, in the dryer's lint trap, even inside the fridge because, you never know with appliances these days. But nope,
Then again,They'd vanish mid-wash, then reappear in water bowl, sometimes tucked behind my family Big portrait .

Then came the noises. ....
At first, it was just a faint whimpering, like a puppy lost in drawer. then, bloodcurdling shrieks that could peel paint off the walls . It was like someone was trapped inside the washing machine, being tortured .

One night . I'd lie in bed, my eyes squeezed shut, but the noise ....
I'm no scaredy-cat, but these whispers were giving me the heebie-jeebies.but ,I couldn't take it anymore,
So, I did what any self-respecting person would do.....
I Armed with a bottle of Rooh Afza (the ghost-busting secret weapon and a cricket bat (because what else are you supposed to fight a ghost with?) I marched towards the Whirlpool of Whispers with a deep breath and a silent prayer to the laundry gods, I flung open the lid, sprinkled Rooh Afza around the machine (it smelled like a scented exorcism), chanted mantras which I learned from a online tutorial ("Spin, spin, go away, washing machine ghost, don't steal my socks today!"), and even offered a fresh pair of socks , a water bottle, a whole portrait and some jam (a peace offering).

And guess what? It worked! HAHA
No longer washing machine.
uhm uhm... I mean washing machine ghost..
