Nathan's P.O.V.

This little girl standing in front of me shaking like a leaf almost begging me to run away , a noble begging a commoner? This is so strange no matter how playful she might be she is not stupid enough to do somthing like this . Several questions are racing through my mind and the answer key is just before me , refusing to let me onto anything.

"I won't leave until you tell me the reason. You must understand how arbitrary this is for me , I was a slave when sister Mary took me in, clothed me gave me roof above my head and cared for me , and now you wish for me to selfishly abandon her? I atleast deserve to know the reason for this out of the place request."

Her body froze and she looked up at me as if begging me with her teary eyes not to ask her anything , but how can't I? She came out of nowhere and asked me to leave everything abandon everything? I don't have any attachment to anyone here , but I can't ever disappoint sister Mary.

"I - I will tell you the reason but not now , it's not the right time. But I promise on my name , I will tell you when the time is correct so please leave now , as far away as you can ."

Author's P.O.V.

Nathan was stunned yet again , pledging on her name was not a small thing , a noble pledging on his name meant that if they went back on their words or broke this promise their destruction would befall on them. Nathan was just flabbergasted , didn't knew what to say he just stared at her for a good one minute.

Pinching his nose bridge and pressing his forehead with his fingers he sighed and looked down .

"Fine , I will do as you say. But , I need atleast some information anything is fine it doesn't need to be specific."

He spoke in a low tone looking down at her observing how she bit her lips nervously and hesitantly.
