Echo an AI built-in to the apartment. she is not like your Alex’s or Siri’s she's much more advanced than that, she can experience emotions, in a way, and can even hold memories like a person.
”Yeah, yeah I'm getting up,” I said as I sit up in bed. Everyone has been talking about the spouse ceremony for the past month, so even if Echo didn't mention it there was no way of forgetting, especially with my family. I'm the oldest, the first one in my family to have a spouse ceremony to go to. My parents and sister have been very excited about today - can people steal your excitement, like if a bunch of people around is all excited about something, can that make you less excited about it. Maybe it's just me, maybe there something wrong with me. I don't know, I mean by the end of the day I’ll be with my future wife and we'll come back here with her family and have dinner with my family. I should fell amazing, but I don't.
