' GRIP,,,,
Silence frosted my ambience ,
my predicament wouldn't tease to the core,
no more I thought,
but not until morrow comes when you had promised;
one you said you wouldn't be the same,
two you'll bare a name,
three your morrow will be greater than to-day,
but that was just a goal,
you try to score yet in the end you lose,
had someone tipped me earlier,
by now I would have known the difference,
a goal is far from a score,
all the tests I undergo with life,
if only life had affection I would be sure to be favourite,
Nothing to say about the school,
the school was right but the subjects were wrong,
teachers were right but the mind was at chaos.
If life could teach me before subjecting me to tests ,
Maybe at this point I would have understood my way around,
but sadly the lessons had to follow the tests, the reason I fail.
They all say hold tight to your dreams,
don't give up, so and so failed countless of time, and now we learn from them.
Who tells you about the grip,
holding tight to a burning coal,
yet to realise that you were meant for other greatness,
When you never let go of your unrealistic goal.
It's so sad that the clock agree not with you;your time is up.
