Sure, G played a major role in my realization journey. He was the catalyst in my growth that made me obtain all the insights I have today. G was the magic ingredient as to why I was able to determine what kind of relationship I aspire to have. His existence showed me what I like and dislike in a partner. He was like that to me when I made a blueprint of the love and relationship I would want to commit myself to.
But he was not the core. He was all of those, but he is not the core of that blueprint. The core of that blueprint is this trio: God, I, and the guy who fits in that blueprint; and G was not that guy. He just showed me the picture, but he was not in the photograph. And that's how my decision to quit the unrequited love was realized last night.
