Whispers of Eternal Love
In sorrow's embrace, my heart does weep,
For you, my dear, in dreams I keep,
The pain it lingers, a haunting tune,
In memories lost, like stars at noon.
Oh, how I yearn to talk once more,
To hear your voice, as days of yore,
Yet time betrays, it slips away,
Like whispers soft in twilight's gray.
Regrets do haunt, a bittersweet sting,
A hug untaken, a broken wing,
If only fate would find its way,
To reunite us, come what may.
But as I stand beneath the sky,
