Things in the past can't be changed,
No matter what I do.
So I can only live with it
And hope that you can too.
That is a lot for someone to take on,
Knowing that I made mistakes.
All I can ask for is forgiveness,
For everything that has taken place.
I understand that you have questions,
That you need the answers too.
I just hope you realize,
I feel so bad for ever hurting you.
Every time you need an answer,
To something you want to know.
I feel so fucking guilty
And I feel so fucking low.
I regret ever hurting you.
It wasn’t meant that way.
I guess that's why they're called mistakes,
I live with them everyday.
Knowing that I hurt you,
Just kills me inside.
But it would have been worse on me,
If I had looked at you and lied.
I'm sorry for all that's happened.
And I'm sorry for hurting you.
I can swear it'll never happen again,
That is the only thing I can do.
I'll live my life repaying you
For hurting you in the past.
But we can get through anything,
Because we have a true love that will last.
