Drowning in Water
Just when you think everything is going to be okay...
Something big happens again.
All this time you sit here expecting something to happen and it never does.
Then when you are happy and it's all good.
The unexpected presence of misfortune seems to peek it's face through the crack of doubt that is so small you yourself doesn't even see it.
Like the world's smallest but most powerful grenade has went off.
An explosion occurs so big you think...
"This is it"
"This is where it ends"
You continue to drown there in your own sea of sorrow yet some how there is enough air to breathe.
You keep taking every breath.
Not even realizing you are just allowing the pain to continue.
Wondering...
"Why does this hurt so bad"
"Why won't it stop"
And even though your lungs continue to fill with oxygen...
So you feel is the heaviness in your chest.
As if it is filled with water
