I feel the soul getting sucked out of my body,
Energy draining slowly by abruptly.
My thoughts fading, and vision getting blurred,
Couldn't fight back, as I was flustered.

Now I'm floating in the sky,
Seeing people who knew me cry.
Couldn't enter into my body,
As I'm currently in a state of disembody.

As I was roaming around as nobody could see me,
Thoughts preoccupied, I ran into her accidentally.
Surprisingly, she could feel my presence,
But I didn't have any physical appearance.

Even though I was dead,
I could hear my heart beat thumping instead.
Protecting her whenever she was troubled,
And she was always left baffled.

I felt I should tell my feelings to her,
Before I dissolve in the thin air.
She was still not convinced, a ghost helped her always,
She was frozen with her gaze.

The time has come to say my farewell,
Have helped her thus far, for her to excel.
She thought I will be back,
But for her everything will be only dreamy flashback.
