Confined Child within Heart
Innocent laughs, carefree smiles,
Climbing up the trees in futile,
Splashing each other in the river,
We play in fields all day together.

When we grow up in adulthood,
We leave behind our childhood,
Lost in the race to become the best,
We forget to have some fun and rest.

That child seems to be lost inside somewhere,
Stands lost and alone on the road to nowhere,
The precious smile whisk away with time,
Cover up the face with the mask of lime.

Those carefree days gone away like blowing wind,
Life is about wealth and power for the mankind,
The child remains confined inside the heart,
Hiding away in the sweet memories of mind.

Don't leave the child alone in the darkness,
Don't let him freeze inside from the coldness,
Embrace him in the warmth of sunlight,
Walk along with him in the bright moonlight.
