heaven won’t save you
when did heaven last feel like heaven
I write word after word in a formation of a poet it is my only escape the only way my mind stays clear
but heaven doesn’t feel like heaven
I write and write my pain the feelings from hell the ones the devil gave me all they say is to pray but god didn’t save me when it started so why would he save me now
tell me to believe in your religion
tell me that god will save me
tell me that my poetry will not save me as much as I think it will
I prayed to him
I am still lost
the devil is still holding my heart
I shouldn’t have to love god first for him to save me from this pain
