Gi'hon
[meaning : Bursting Forth; Gushing]

GIHON, second river mentioned in the four rivers that branched out from the river issuing out of Eden, described as “encircling the entire land of Cush.” (Genesis 2:10, 13) It's quite challenging to accurately identify the Gihon River and the land of Cush in today's time. There are several possibilities, however, due to noticeable shifts in the earth's topography caused by the worldwide Deluge (Genesis 6:9 - 9:19) , we can't draw a definitive conclusion.

Some associated the land of Cush to Kassites, people of the plateau in central Asia. Some associate it to Arabians of Arabian Peninsula. Some connect the Gihon River to Araks River.
No ultimate conclusion can be reached.
