Why does everyone think that I should smile
I can guarantee if you were in my shoes
You would find it hard to keep a smile on your face
When every day you feel like dying sitting here crying.
My whole body feels like it's falling apart,
There's this empty space inside my soul.
This mind is lost in a dark and lonely place.
Yet you worry about my fucking smile.
If only you could see what's happening within ,
Maybe then my smile wouldn't be so important,
Because you'd witness the battlefield inside my mind

There's so much shit that you can't see .
Sure I sometimes paint a smile on my face
But why waste my energy there
When there's bigger battles still to endure.
So stop worrying about my smile
