Childhood Memories : A Treasure
When I was just a child at play,
The world was bright and full of sway,
I roamed and frolicked with no care,
The sun on my face, the wind in my hair.

In fields of green I'd run and hide,
With friends who laughed and played beside,
We'd climb the trees and scrape our knees,
And search for treasures in the breeze.

We'd build sandcastles on the beach,
And chase each other out of reach,
We'd swim in rivers, lakes and pools,
And ride our bikes like fearless fools.

The days were long, the nights were sweet,
As we lay down to rest our feet,
The stars above, the moon so bright,
Watched over us through the night.

Now as I look back on those days,
A smile forms as memories blaze,
Of carefree times and simple joys,
Of laughter, love, and childhood toys.

And though those days have long since passed,
Their magic still remains steadfast,
For in my heart and in my mind,
Those childhood memories will always shine.
