It turned out
to be a beautiful day
unusual
in unusual ways
no need to feel down
just hop on a bus
go into town
in the city
there's lots to see
guards guarding buildings
you and me
working hard
horses say nay to the tourists
get outta my face
hands all over them
while they're trying to work
all over their faces, bodies and reigns
stamping their hooves
one step forward
nay, tell them to move along
you're here working
won't they leave you alone
as here we are
in the warmest sunshine
the city's buildings gleam
under the sunshine rays
I guess those bricks and mortar
they'd tell a few stories
if only they could speak
buildings 5 floors and counting
each room the size
of a football field
tourists flock
from all over the world
Big Ben strikes the hour
quick, watch check
Elizabeth
would breathe a sigh of release
The Queen
sadly no longer with us - Rest peacefully
but the tourists keep coming
and the horses are having none of it...Nay
