Dear Shastriji,
My heartfelt pranam at your holy feet.
A little girl I am and
I don't know how to write.
I wish I had magical wings and
I could fly high to spread your message of
Unity, integrity and peace.
Shower your blessings from heaven
On the green fields to enrich.
Though you are not alive,
But you are in the hearts of millions.
I can hear the nature whispering your slogan
"Jai jawan, jai kisan".
Oh, Divine soul!
Bless me with simplicity,
Bless me with honesty,
Bless me with kindness.
Give me peace in my heart.
My pen will flow like a fountain and
It will never hurt others.
