Separate Paths
Him and Her, always together,
a girl and a guy with promises of forever.
In love, they were simply the happiest pair.
Others were envious of a love so rare.
Well, life threw obstacles in their way,
Their bond weakened a little more each day.
The trust they once shared was fading fast
As their misunderstandings continued to last.
They tried their best to make things right.
But it always ended in a senseless fight.
Their love was not enough to overcome,
The challenges that had only just begun
At last, They both agreed it was now time,
To let go of a bond that was once sublime
And although they knew it was for the best
Their hearts were shattered & ached in unrest
They had to part ways, each with tears in their eyes.
Wondering if it had been worth all the tries.
They'll forever cherish the memories of their past,
But now it is time that they walk separate paths.
