Four Leaf Clover
This is a tale of a girl with depression,
Who needs to be taught a very good lesson.
Scared to death as she fights,
Wondering what is the meaning of life?
Mistakes, mistakes, over and over.
Hoping to find a four- leaf clover.
Hoping to strike some luck, Maybe then she wouldn’t be so stuck.
Struggling as the days go by,
Feeling as if she couldn't be revived.
Depression swallowing her hole,
All the light she had once, it stole.
Wishing upon that damn four-leaf clover,
Hoping the darkness would soon be over.
Praying the demons would go, Her hanging her head down low. She wanted this to be over..
For her thoughts to be sober.
She reached the end of the dark.
Walking out the tunnel that left a mark.
Fresh air she breathed.
Clapping, finally feeling relieved.
Gladness flowing through her veins..
Happy for some positive remains.
She thought to herself, maybe she was blessed.
Thanking God she was no longer stressed.
Happiness comes in all shapes and forms.
She was happy to be out of the storms.
This is a true tale,
Of the girl that refused to fail.
