The Final Decision
Hidden away in his subterranean level room strategically placed strip lights take away the gloom, casting shadows here and there, he isn't bothered, he doesn't care.
The air is pungent a mix of body waste and detergent, nothing about his job is frightfully urgent as the scalpel makes a masterful incision, chest and stomach open up into two divisions , revealing the parts that will make his decision.

He places the internal parts he needs on tagged trays to examine and determine cause of death, time of day, a job not for the light hearted some people might say but he loves what he does while he's writing away, cause of death was , whatever their fate, now it's off to the pub for a pint with his mate.

# Inspired by Garry Saunders poem.. Death stalks the room
